You won't see many of these snakes. These are cut to fit as a pretty tight puzzle with alternating pieces of maple and walnut. I have seen no other made of different types of wood. I have seen many with alternating sections painted or stained. Before you learn to make these you produce a lot of scrap and sawdust!
