People who are not computer "nerds" can benefit from a little
understanding of the microprocessor. I try to make things as simple as possible.
I have to, because I am not too smart. Did you ever feel that a writer or teacher didn't

Remember that there are many microprocessors in use that have nothing to do
with the IBM, APPLE, or any other microcomputer. Many devices have to
be programmed in machine language. I would hate to think of an electronics
student who had not built a couple of registers with an adder circuit in
between. I can not imagine one who has not put a number into a
microprocessor and watched as it did what the book said it would. Even if
that was to add a couple of numbers.
