I have provided a few pages here to tell you about some things I have learned that improved my reading greatly. This can be called "speed reading". It is more. It works for me. It will work for you.
Your reading speed is almost unlimited. Reading is properly done only with the mind. How fast can the mind move. Who knows? Very fast! Many people read to themselves by "mouthing" the words. The speed of the mouth is very slow in spite of what others have told you. Speech is slow even at its fastest. To read fast we must learn to read more than one word at a time. It is quite possible to read whole sentences, lines, or even paragraphs at a single glance.
What I teach here is not difficult. You need to be aware of a few simple facts. You need to keep the ideas here in mind and use them every day. That's all. Practice a little as you go through your day and studies and your reading and overall comprehension of what is around you will greatly improve.
