Here is The Main Content Area

This is the main content area for my page. This is an exercise in the study of css. This file uses the stylesheet called standard.css . I have studied lots of sites that use css and kept notes on things that I discovered. Css is not very hard to understand. Areas are defined on the css page. That page is named as a link and the browser goes there to get instructions about how to color, size, and formatt things.

This is the second paragraph on the content page.

I am writing this on the second paragraph of the content area as defined in the .content class of the style sheet. It is very easy to come here and change what is here. Everyone interested in html should investigate css.

This is paragraph three. I have defined the text size in the content area as 12px. I am not sure that is a great idea as I have read that it is a bad idea to mess with text size. Users have set their brower text size to their own liking. Should I mess with their preferences? This is a lesson in css and an example so I did it any way.

If You Click Merlin He Will Talk To You

If you click on the portrait of Merlin on the left he will talk to you. He talks too much, as a matter of fact. You can right click on him to hide him and shut him up. He thinks he is a teacher. That is why he talks so much. I have provided several pages for links with some info on each. Use this as you wish. I have pledged myself to fit all opening info on the first page. This is a good rule to follow.... I am told.

If Merlin Didn't Show Up.....

HCC students should have Merlin enabled by now. If Merlin didn't show you can go to Microsoft for all free info and files. To see what Merlin is really good for see a fine example of his use at Kingsbury School.
