The Governor of the State of Florida is ignorant enough to take major steps that influence the lives of citizens without doing any research other than listening to proven stupids! A few minutes research and some simple thought and one finds that the global warming propaganda is pure nonsense!

Generally understood, but rarely publicized is the fact that 95% of the greenhouse effect is due solely to natural water vapor. Of the remaining 5%, only 0.2% to 0.3% of the greenhouse effect (depending on whose numbers you use) is due to emissions of carbon dioxide and other gases from human sources. If we are in fact in a global warming crisis, even the most aggressive and costly proposals for limiting industrial carbon dioxide emissions would have an undetectable effect on global climate. However, significant efforts to limit the emission of greenhouse gases in the United States are currently underway.

Did you know that Royal Palms grew down the Bayshore Blvd in Tampa until the 1980's when the cold killed the last of them (one is hiding in a yard)? I have read that they were Cuban Royal Palm (Roystonea regia). There were ten left in 1983 when they were killed by the cold. It was getting colder eveyone agreed! I remember them very well. They had beautiful smooth gray skin with well defined rings and the head was long, very green, and artistically shaped. I remember them as being huge. Of course, I was small! I would take the street car to Ballast Point and fish from the pier.The street car ran down the middle of the Bayshore Blvd between the two lanes of pavement. It cost a nickle for the ride. You got a free "transfer" and changed cars in downtown Tampa. There was little auto traffic.

Did you know that guavas grew wild in the ditches and around the lakes in Forest Hills (North Tampa) in the forties and fifties? You probably know that a little cold kills guava bushes. It was pretty warm for them to stay year after year. There weren't many cars around. I remember trying to hitch a ride to Temple Terrace and walking all the way because no cars passed by to thumb.


Did you know that during the forties and later mango, papaya, and avocado pear grew plentifully in Ybor City. Climate change caused the demise of these tropical favorites! Damn global cooling I guess! Charlie don't know this.


Did you know that Marjorie Rawlings bought a 74 acre orange "farm" near Cross Creek and moved to Florida where she wrote The Yearling? Wonder who planted oranges on the outskirts of Gainsville?

This is more serious than a govenor who is a little dumb. What will we teach our children in the public schools? Will we change our science class to make the state officials look bright? Will we change what teachers tell children? Think about it!
Did you know that they shipped 10,000 boxes of oranges from the packing house in Island Grove in 1888? Needless to say the population of Florida and the USA was much smaller then! Don't know where Island Grove is? Neither does Charlie!


Did you know that the citrus people largely agreed in the mid 1980's that it was no longer practical to grow oranges north of Interstate 4 (Orlando, Lakeland, Plant City, and Tampa) because the climate had changed? It was simply too cold! That was a little over 20 years ago. Florida ag was in deep trouble because of climate change!!! Groves should not be replanted at Groveland.


Did you know that citrus growers were buying land farther south in the late eighties and ninties and even bedding up low land and planting citrus on the hills? Citrus trees don't like wet feet. They loved the rolling sand hills of Central Florida! Global cooling was a proven fact! What a nice thing if these growers had replanted their groves. Oh well! Stupid people think they know all about the weather!


Did you know that I was told by my Aunt "Bunny" that her mother grew oranges in their back yard near Hilliard, FL during the thirties and early forties. That is just inside Florida. They didn't have a car most of the time! Wonder how it got so warm?


Please look into the global warming nonsense and read the facts so we don't follow these knuckle draggers for no good reason. The governor makes me ashamed! He is a great disappointment! How could we elect such a devoutly stupid man? Yes, I know! RFK wants me to be charged with treason! If RFK hates me I am proud and right!


Weather is constantly changing. Did you notice how accurate the experts were about last hurricane season? The "models" didn't do so hot! Why would you think they could do any better regards global warming. Help from Arnold? Good Lord!!
